...so, why? I just started to take dancing lessons and am surprised to discover the significant cost difference between group and private lessons. The dance studio I go to charges only $15 for a two hour group lesson, but they charge a whopping $80 for a one hour private lesson. I find that kind of odd. So far, I went to two private lessons and one group lesson. I have to say, private lessons are WAY better. You learn much more and it’s much easier to pick up. With group lessons, it’s easy to get lost because there are just so many people. I would like to go for more private lessons because eventually I want to become a great dancer and impress the ladies. But wow, $80 a lesson is very pricey. The $15 group class is a much better price, but in my opinion, going to group classes alone isn’t going to get me far.
So, why do they charge THAT much more for a private lesson? It doesn’t make sense. A lesson is a lesson! There should be such a significant difference in price.
