I am thinking of purchasing a 1970 Firebird Formula 400 for my first car. I'm getting a decent deal on it, seeing as it does run but needs work. What would your estimate be of the cost of a engine and tranny rebuild? $4000-$5000? I just need this to be my daily driver.
