...election and Bush won? Kerry was ahead on all polls one week out of the election with Bush trailing by an average of 11 points and Bush won the election. Obama is only ahead by 2 points in the AP poll and 5 on average. So are these polls written purposely to make voters think that one candidate is kicking the other guys butt just so they hope to influence the people sitting on the fence to jump over to the candidate who appears to be winning as an attempt to vote for/or "picking the front runner"?
 
No Kerry was not ahead in "all polls" at this time. Of course the popular poll doesn't tell us a lick about who will win the electoral college

This is 4 years ago today... as you can see Kerry only had a very slight lead.

McCain is in trouble. He just pulled out of Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa (all states Bush carried in '04). If you simply add these states, and Obama holds the states Kerry got, Then Obama has more than 270 needed to win... Unless McCain takes PA. This means his only path to the white house now goes through PA. McCain is currently behind by double digits in PA. This is not likely to change. He's toast.
 
The Swift boaters started in Sept by the end of Aug Kerry was down.

McCain will lose big time. In ND just today Obama hasn't even campaigned there and they are Tie. ND going to a Blue state, I think so.

This is simply not true. the Kerry-Bush campaigns were ALWAYS just 2-3 pts within each other. Kerry was NEVER EVER ahead by 11pts.
