I was reading a sports related book, and the book had stories from different people (regular people, not famous athletes) telling how sports changed their lives. I was curious if people who submit such stories to authors are usually paid?
That's all up to the writer and the people interviewed. Generally not. Famous people might want some funds if the book is mostly about them. but i would think for the most part, no.
