Are people having a hard time finding a job w/ a BS in biology?

I'm thinking about getting my BS in biology and I have been doing some research. I'm finding that a lot of people w/ the degree aren't having good luck w/ jobs. Is that just a few select or picky people or is it in fact that difficult. My other option in to get my RN after that. Do RNs make more money w/ that degree also or is not worth it to do both?
