are north korea and south korea at war?

My Husband called me at work today and asked me to go look on the news to see is North and South Korea had declaired war upon each other. I looked but I couldn't find anything. He said that one of the guys who are of a higher rank than my husband told him that they had. (My husband is in the Marines. Do any of you know if they are at war or not? I was just getting scared becuz he may have to leave earlier than expected. =(

yes technical they are as they never signed a treaty ending the first war in the fifties. so officially a state of war has existed between the two for the past fifty plus years.
