Well I got a Oscar(very tiny at the moment) and a type of cichlid. I forget what its called..well it's gray with lots of blue dots :3(it'll be 23 inches I think he said.)
My ph level is 7.8-8 and the rest of it is perfect. So my Oscar was doing great in the car(She even bit a hole in the bag
) but now in the tank(20 gal) she will be swimming around and everything but when I turn a light on she'll go down and swim on her side? The the chichlid is hiding or sitting in a corner always..but if you tap the glass then he'll go crazy(unlike the Oscar) 
So are they gonna be alright? Oh and I added gravel while they where getting used tithe water, the tank had other fish in it already too and they're fine.(They are little ones Lol)
