I have a debate and I'm speaking against the topic "Moral values in today's life are just a mirage"
Please help me.

Moral values are not a mirage, they began as we became more civilised and also as we realised and avoided actions that we thought were intrinsically wrong. Moral values then grew to be become the standard/code by which we lived/conducted our lives and thus evolved in to the underlying concepts of our social and political behaviour and laws.

Moral values are a sort of unwritten law of conduct. given a society sufficiently sophisticated to value an orderly life style, such unwritten laws are necessary for its cohesion and sustainability. It is not so much whether a moral "value" is right or wrong, but whether it supports and facilitates orderly life and conduct, maximizing advantages to all. Christian morals are an example of such optimization.
