my boyfriend was diagnosed with schizophrenia when he was a child, now hes 19 and has been expereincing more mood swings that ever. one day hell be really depressed, and for the past 48 hours hes been extremely hyperacticve. he dosnt handle stress well, and his parents call me when their worried about him. aprently im the only one that keeps him sane. i love him to death, and when hes normal, hes perfectly normal. hes always fun to be around and great to talk to. im just wondering if the extreem mood swings hes been expereincing are part of his schizophrenia. im running out of ways to try to help him. i want him to go see a phycologist, but he wont talk to anyone but me about this. if anyone ahs any kind of information they can give me about what kind of ilness he could be suffering from, or any more info about schizophrenia. it would be SO helpful. ive been doing alot of research.
Are mood Swings part of Schizophrenia? PLEASE HELP?
