Are mental health issues more prominent in Northern Ireland than anywhere else

in the UK? When I read through news websites, Northern Ireland seems to have a higher record of crimes that make you cringe than anywhere else in the UK or Ireland. I wanted to ask without seeming insulting, is insanity more prevalent there and if so, what are the factors and causes of this.

Yes, it is factually true that mental health issues are more prominent in Northern Ireland than anywhere else in the UK.

However, I think your mooted "explanation" is simplistic and sounds like a case of the tail wagging the dog to be honest. The actual reasons are extremely complex and beyond the scope of a Yahoo answer.
