It seems that an awful lot of guys complain about being placed into the "friend zone" as if being someone's friend is a terrible thing. I've heard guys claim that there's no such thing as a man being content being just friends with any girl...he always wants to have sex with her but settles for friendship because she doesn't want a sexual relationship. Meanwhile, a lot of women love having guy friends who aren't constantly pushing for a sexual relationship. I've never heard a single girl complain that a guy placed her into his "friend zone"...we don't even have a term for the female equivalent of the friend zone.
