I have always had female dogs, except for one time I adopted a stray male pup ( mix of lurcher /spanish podenco). I had a bad experience with that dog as he was extremely hard to handle and aggressive to all other dogs no matter what I did to try to remedy the situation. Is this a common trait in male dogs ? I have been offered a male lab pup by a friend and I am wary because of what happened before. Will I be ok with a male labrador?
