I am ordering winter/fall clothes and i have a few pink victorias secret track suits. right now im wearing a navy track suit with white lettering "pink university" and brown uggs....I am freezing so i changed into this and was wondering if it'd look lazy or something to go out in poblic wearing this? i mostly like to wear these to walk in or something but ive seen girls wear them out.

I think it depends where you are going and how you present yourself. If your hair and makeup is nice then it wont look "lazy".
I think if you just want to be comfortable all day and thats what you want to wear then you shouldnt care what other people think. If anyone has that much time to sit around judging other people on what they're wearing, then I think that is their problem and they need to get over it.
Its different if you are going somewhere nice like a nice restaurant or whatever then you probably shouldn't wear it.
You should wear whatever you want if your lounging and hanging out with friends whether you are in your own home or not.

I think people wearing pjs or lounge stuff out in public is lazy and either looks trashy or slutty.

It doesn't take any effort to throw on jeans and a hoodie, and it's the same comfort level.

A lot of girls, particularly college-aged girls, do embrace this style, so you're not going to be looked at funny, but I personally do not like that aesthetic. I think it is an indication of a really bad sense of fashion. I think it looks lazy and silly, particularly if your hair and makeup are done up, too. Lounge clothes should be kept to situations when you are lounging, not going out and about.

I like the track pants...but I think going out in the suit almost looks plain silly. It's kind of a sterotypical "rich snob" look here where I live...especially when paired with ugs. It may look a little less sloppy if you paired it with sneakers or flip flops until the weather becomes too cold.

I am a guy, 28 years old, so perhaps my opinion doesn't count...

I dislike it when girls seem to go out in their PJs. Just looks sloppy to me. If it was 2 am and they were at the gas station, that's different.

Lounging and going out in public are two different things. And I agree with the first comment, though I call it more just being lazy, not so much trashy. It's a tacky way of dressing. I'm not saying you should be dressed to the 9's 24/7 but there is a time and a place for everything. Track suits are pretty much just pajamas, and since they're only made out of terry/velour...that's not exactly "track" material...you get too sweaty in it, so I really can't understand why they are even called track suits.

Sweaters, jeans and long sleeve shirts are appropriate for fall and winter, if you'll be going outside, and bring along a jacket.

i've seen girls wearing them all the time, but personally i dont really like the way they look. this lounge wear is supposed to be worn outside, but in my opinion i dont love them. i've seen girls wear pj's to class at the university i go to so, i guess it's all a matter of opinion
