Are Lincoln Town Car's considered boats?

I own a 2002 Signature Series Lincoln Town Car which is 215.3 inches or exactly 18 foot. Compared to todays cars my car is a 'boat'; but compared to the 50s - 70s 'boats' I feel like I'm driving a go-kart. Especially, the Lincolns, Cadillacs, Oldsmobile, and Chrysler's from the early to mid 70s; all of them beat my '02 Town Car by at least 1 foot, some by almost 2 foot in length. When you see a newer Town Car do you say to yourself "Wow thats a big car?" Because to me, it seems small compared too older cars. Is the newer Town Car considered a 'boat' as the older luxury cars were?
