Are learning cheerleading dances hard?

In april , im trying out for cheerleading. I don't really have any experience for cheerleading expect when i was 7 , and when i was 4 i did gymnastics. But i stopped. Also, what are some other hard parts or the tryouts? Im really nervous for it..
But im not good at remembering things D;
