At night, I drive with my inside dash lights off for the sake of paying full attention to the road.
Sometimes I get curious at how fast I'm going and--lo and behold--i'm within 2 mph of the listed speed limit.
I cruise according to the likeliness that a car or someone on foot might suddenly jump in front of me from the sidewalk and if there are many cars at a time, I match speeds with the speed of the average driver present on the road...although it is the former example I'd like to elaborate on.
Basically, fuzzy logic and the chances of this this and that happening are always taken into account especially when i drive with the in-dash lights off at night. I haven't gotten into an accident or received a ticket (yet), but it seems like even without gauging sensors of my speed, I match the listed speed according to the circumstances on the road (like if there are blind turns, intersections, residential areas, commercial districts, etc.)
I guess I'm generalizing this bit of traffic law to all law but are laws [supposed to be] representative of subjective logic or imposing?
