Are jeans going to be too hot for back to school?

Okay, I go back to school August 5th, and I have a really cute black and white zebra print shirt, and I want to wear jeans with it. It gets up to the 90's. Are jeans going to be to hot? If so, what can I wear instead? (The only reason I want to wear jeans is because I have some really cute flats & they'll look weird without jeans.)
