are iphones available all over the world?? being network locked?

what countries in the world that their network companies offers iphones???



coz i have one iphone 3gs here and the owner has no idea at all, he bought the phone 2nd hand from a mini shop here, and he updated it to 3.1.3 ( new boot ), now i can activate it with itunes..



i have onesim on my hand and i already tried all of these networks, AUSTRIA, PHILIPPINES, USA, JAPAN, GERMANY, BELGUIM, MEXICO AND CANADA... but i cant get it done...



the model if i connect it with forecast shows its a MC134.... will this small info help??


maybe by sharing here some info about where iphones are being network locked could help me lessen my work... hehehehe!

i dont think so....i read in some poast up in here that iphones in africa are never locked on purchase they are always unlocked so i guess we all should protest against iphones in other parts of the world being imprisonment for no reason we are lucky to have the iphone robinwood and zorro to break them free from the clutches of steve jobbs......hahahaha
 
just go and buy this you dont need to know the iphone is locked to which carrier.It just activates the iphone directly as soon as you connect it to itunes.

OK try to download umbrella (software to save you're shsh in cydia)
here's the link:

when you plug in you're device it will show the connected device:
also the real model number of the unit (because forecast only detects the first 3 digit of the iphone model)

after that you can find the original carrier through this post:

Then it's time you program you're onesim to it's original IMSI carrier to activate the iphone

I have no idea if this will work since all of my iphone i'm using I know who's carrier it's connected and also I'm using magicsim

however i already tried with onesim all the japan networks but sadly it didnt work for this iphone...

have guides here on how to used magicsim, most important is where you can buy it LOL and also guide how to change the IMSI, it works 100% for my 3GS from AT&T and my 3G from Rogers (Canada).

If Japan softbank is not yet answered by kingofhearts, just ask and he will come back to you, just read the whole post and maybe he already answered the IMSI of Japan softbank...
