At a local, trusted dealer I found a (i think 1996) 5-speed coupe Honda Acura (The car looks like this : http://pics.hoobly.com/full/C4SA4UO9VW55EJUEG2.jpg). Is this a good car? Has anyone had any personal experience with this car? Good gas mileage? The guys selling it for $1500 so we were thinking if we do buy it we'll put a new engine in it, make it nicer lol.
Thanks! ( :

**THATS THE RIGHT LINK... 4 SOME REASON THEY DIDNT LIST THE WHOLE THING...**

I used to have a '97 Acura that was in an accident, so I got it for just $5000. The only thing that needed replacing was the automatic transmission. Everything else in the car was running like it was brand new. I love those cars because they never want to give up... they just keep running no matter what happens.

So yes, Hondas and Acuras are extremely reliable cars.

They are great cars, just be sure the previous owner did not
beat the tar out if. Even with a new engine ( if that's what it may
need) you must consider all of the other components that may
have been driven hard.

If it's not butchered up, you've got a sweet looking car there.

To many modifications done poorly will give you trouble.

Good Luck on your upcoming wheels....

Honda/Acura is the top of the top. I have a 92 Acura integra and a 98 honda civic and both run like champs. And the good thing about Honda's is that a lot of the parts are interchangeable so hondas are basically like legos haha. And parts are cheap and easy to find. Oh, and yes, they get great gas mileage

1500 is a good deal! Engine are easy to swap in Honda's if you are just going to do a B series to B series swap!
