Are her parents handling the situation the wrong way?

Okay so I used to be best friends with this girl until her OCD got really bad and she stopped talking to me. I am 17 and she is 20. She has been homeschooled her whole life. She keeps her horse at my house and is over 4 days a week but we dont really talk. She doesn't have a job or go to school. Her parents don't make her do anything she doesn't want to do because of her illness. It is pretty clear to us that most of the time she uses her illness as an excuse to get out of doing things. She was supposed to be helping out in the barn in exchange for the cheap board she gets. She is completely capable of cleaning the stalls but she doesn't want to do them so she cries half the time she is cleaning them and takes a really long time to make it seem like a harder job than it actually is. She told her parents it was too much work and now her parents clean the stalls for her. That really pisses me off because there are responsibilities that come woth owning a horse. The girl has pretty much gotten out of having to deal with life. Are her parents enabling her? Shouldn't she have responsibilities? At this point she is going to be living with her parents until they are too old to care for her.
