I've heard and read TONS of stories of Harley owners that 1) They love their bikes to the death BUT
2) Maintenance is over the roof and visits to the dealership are more often than most metric bikes...how true is this? I own a 2001 Yamaha V Star, and people keep telling me it's a bulletproof bike, and it's quite true...yet sometimes I long for a H-D, but would that be upgrading or downgrading? I don't want to buy a headache, even if it's a costly one! Thank you for your input people!
