are ford escorts bad cars?

ok i hate fords
but i sold my silverado for food lol sounds funny but i gotta eat
and i have another one...but it only takes racing gas so... yeah...thats 120 dollars a gallon by me
anyways my auto class is selling a ford escort for 2k dollars, mechanically sound(i know i worked on it and put about 1k bucks wortha parts in it) interior is in great condition it has leather seating
thing is...its pink...and it has about 120-140k miles on it and im like ahh idk
i can pay for this shit with cash upfront but i need to paint it right away and put some black and chrome enkei rims on it lol i aint driving around in a pink car anyways are they bad cars? i like it driving wise its kinda fast...nothing like my old truck or the one i have now but still its kinda fast and drives smooth

i kinda figured that...i might buy it and drop a bigger, more reliable engine in it...i dont know though its a really tiny car
i freaking hate fords like you have no idea but its better than spending 120 dollars a gallon and freaking getting 2-8mpg with my truck the 502 i put in it was fun for like a year being my daily driver then i ran outta money and now its old and annoying lol
 
Personal opionion i have had a few as early cars and even different gens of escort, all broke down and had to be towed,i thought this was the norm with owning cars i had all work done and all where serviced when they needed them.And all had low mileage.
Would i own another if i needed a really really cheap car quick or someone was pointing a big gun at me in a car showroom.

But maybe people are happy with them.
