Are electric motorcycles going to come down in price this year?

I see them online and in mags and they are around 12k for a good one. This is so much compared to gas ones with the equivalent power. I know the tech costs a bit more, but they are never going to take off if they can't bring down the price. Any ideas on if this might happen?
