...collection agency? Okay, here's what's going on. I have not been that responsible with my credit, to say the least. I have a lot of medical bills and a couple of credit cards I'm behind in paying off. I have creditors harrassing me on a daily basis, so I've resorted to not answering the phone. Probably not my best move, but I noticed when I do speak to these people, they are rude and rarely try to work with me. They do not say what company they're with, nor do they care I've missed quite a bit of work due to an illness(not their problem, I know...however, it's frustrating.) When they leave messages, they're very vague as well...and that just adds to my frustration.
One of them also has been to my apartment complex, and totally discussed my situation with one of my neighbors!! I didn't even know this guy! But this B**** tried to knock on MY door first, and when my boyfriend didn't answer, she went looking for anyone who might know where I was.(I wasn't even home at the time.)
I knew who it was that visited my home, so I called the compnay and threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau if it ever happpened again. (The guy on the other end of the line wouldn't even tell me his first NAME--typical.) My boyfriend said he thought they might be trying to hunt me down to serve me papers, but even so, this dumb broad still had do right to discuss my situation with anyone else but me. That's an invasion of privacy, and against the law. What should I do? I thought about calling a lawyer, seeing as I barely make $10.00 an hour and all my bills are outrageous as it is. Thanks for listening, any help is appreciated. :)
