Are Daihatsu car parts hard and expensive to find in Australia now that they have

stopped selling new cars? Since Daihatsu has now merged with Toyota and new Daihatsu cars are no longer being sold in Australia, does that mean finding spare parts would be harder and also more expensive? I am asking because I am currently looking to buy my first car and saw a Daihatsu which I really like, but I am concerned about repair costs etc. Would it be inadvisable to buy it or should I just stick to buying something more common like a Toyota??
