Growing up, I've always rode my bicycle on the pavement or footpath shared by pedestrians. Police officers have never addressed whether or not cyclists HAVE to ride their bikes on the road. Isn't this very dangerous? What are the rules when driving a bicycle on the road? Can you ride in front of a car?
