I know my husband is hooked on Vicodin. He literally crys like a baby, and whines all the time.(Is this the signs)? He has become very touchy on any subject, and becomes violent. I have been putting up with this for four years. If he can't get that he turns to crack. Some one help me. Its costing my marriage. and now the law has been involved because of his violance. He complains constantly, always bitching about something. Complains and whines in the mornings about how much he hates to get up cause he feels like crap.

Get him to a doctor and have him reassessed. He may also need professional therapy. He sounds ill in more ways than one. He is an emotional wreck and extremely depressed by the sounds of your post.
Was he always like this or is it only since Vicodin?
Almost anything can become addictive and have its side effects, however not every drug agrees with everyone. You must let the doctor know how he is reacting.
Good Luck.

My friend was had an allergy to Vicodin, and he heard noises, couldn't sleep and really irritable.

The doctor told him to stop taking them,
and prescribed some xtra strength over the counter

My husband was a addict also, and it did cost us our marriage. Please look into AA and they can direct you where to go to better understand your husband and yourself. They will tell you that you are enabling him to get high. It might help you mead you marriage or to get out of this marriage like I did. Anna Nana
