I'm doing a science fair project on if different types of music make crickets chirp more or less. I'm planing buying two cricket condos and placing one male cricket in each but something bugs me. Are crickets social? I don't want the cricket to die half way through the experiment because of lack of a social environment. Basically what I'm asking is, will the crickets die if I keep them seperated?
