i bought a 1993 Honda accord with 205000 miles on the vehicle. Recently the timing belt broke on the automobile. The engine won't start and i checked with my friend who swapped his own civic motor with high miles for a new crate motor from japan.i am a college student and work part time so funds are tight. I have friends who can put the new motor in my vehicle but i am not sure if i should buy a crate motor from japan? any additional info on this topic would be great.
are crate motors for Honda's a good investment to buy?
