Are Chevy Cobalts good cars?

I'm looking to buy a new car. The car I have right now is ten years old and has a good number of problems with it. I have tried dealing with it as long as possible so that I can continue to save money for a newer car, but it's getting difficult, so I'm starting my car search now. I was originally looking at Honda Civics, specifically 2006 or newer. However, I've recently been looking at Cobalts because they're cheaper and also seem to be good cars. What are your opinions on the cars?
 
The cobalt is a good car we see few problems and if you get the 2007 or newer you get a 5 year 100000 mile powertain warranty. I would sell one to a family member if they wanted a small car.
