Are BearPaw hiking boots, good hiking boots overall?

I had just bought some men's BearPaw hiking boots. I bought them because I was shopping for a compass and there was a good deal for these boots too. What I want to know most of all; are BearPaw hiking boots reliable and quality hiking boots? (The BearPaw hiking boots I have are not the fashion men's boots you'll find on their website, but are boots "designed" for hiking.)
