the universe....
a) came about deliberately
b) came about spontaneously
c) has always existed (is eternal)
(can you think of any others?)
i am a theist who believes a., if you are the majority of atheists you probably would say b.; how can you argue this without using sophisticated science/ theses/ research papers. that is, how can you argue for this claim without using science and only using reason?
if a good argument is a good argument- i say, it shouldn't matter whether its the 7th/14th or 21st century. one should be able to defend and support it quite easily with reason/logic/ common sense. can you defend b; using reason and NOT science?
