I'd like to know because I just got a huge galloned tank last night from family. I'd like to collect more of the tropical and exotic fish and angelfish are one of them. So, I'd like to knwo because I also want to get pufferfish. Would they work together well?

How BIG is this huge galloned tank, exactly? You have to make sure you put angelfish in with other fish that will NOT nip at their fins. They are very finicky. Pufferfish will not work with angelfish, by the way.

puffer fish can only be kept with other puffer fish. They are very agressive. Angels should be kept singly, unless you can find someone with a proven pair. If you get 2 or more, they will tend to be agressive.

When you say huge, how many gallons are you talking about? Angel fish get quite large, so be sure the tank is large enough for them=

1. Marine angels are generally quite aggressive; freshwater angels will depend on what they're kept with. Of course, there are extremes for the Pterophyllum species.
2. DO NOT keep puffers with angels. The angels will end up with no fins. Puffers should only be kept in a species tank, not a community tank.

They will do well if the tank is big enough and if you start with young angels. they tend be territorial so that is why the tank size is something to consider.

that is so incredibly incorrect angelfish are very sociable, they live in groups of 2 to 30 so they are anything but aggressive.they are very good aquatic pets because they get along virtually with any other fish except gold fish(if they r big) and Oscars, and betas.

Angelfish are aggressive i had two of them and the angle fish use to eat all me other fish !
