races playing sports? I am an Indian man who lives in the UK, here the main sports are soccer and Cricket. I see Indian, Black, Middle Eastern, White and all sorts of people playing each other in different sports. They compete against each other and today we were watching a basketball game at the local exercise center, the teams consisted of White, Black, Middle Eastern and Indian players, even had an Asian kid on the team.
My American friend (who is Chinese) told me that he wishes he would have grown up in the UK instead of America. I asked him why, he told me that in the United States, usually when it comes to basketball they only allow Blacks and Whites to play, Hispanics may join in but Asians are not allowed to play because most Black and White people don't give them a chance. I also heard that a lot of high school basketball coaches would not even give an Asian kid a chance when it comes to basketball and generally speaking you must be Black or White if you want to play sports in the United States.
Here in the UK we do not have that issue, I heard from my friends that in the United States it is a major issue.
