Do not mean to insult or swear ... But ARE Americans and Westerners and the world are jealous of Egyptian civilization? .. I always had movies and the comments and Questions and deliberately lied to the Egyptians and the Egyptian civilization. Once I notice from the movies they say that the Egyptians did not build the pyramids .. And once I notice they say that the Egyptian civilization occurred because of the Nile ... with that most countries have a rivers....
Why all this attack on Egypt and the Egyptians and the Egyptian civilization .. You deserve the Egyptian civilization insult ... We receive millions of tourists from around the world Is this the result of our respect for the world ... Noted, also people .Believe that the Egyptians are Arabs ... Egyptians are not Arabs, but most of them speak Arabic and Coptic, mixed with nature and culture close to the Arab countries
I hope to respond honestly and honor .. Is it right through media experience to Egypt, movies, people etc. ..
 
I am an Egyptologist Ph.D. and a Westerner and I know what you are talking about.A big part of my life I have been defending Egyptian Culture against misplaced attacks from Europeans (I am European). The reason is probably that it is the most brilliant and greatest Culture of the early world and it might be difficult to swallow for some people that the people who built up and maintained this Civilizations were not whites. I know Egyptians very well work with them in their country since 20 years and appreciate today's people as much as I do their old culture. I know Muslims and Copts and all have the same kindness about them,they are all willing to accept you with open arms if you are willing to accept them as equals,which is only logical.
Do not pay attention to this silly talk,the people that really matter are the ones who know what Egypt is all about - today and yesterday.

Not sure what you rambling question is, but as an American - No I am not jealous of Egypt or Egyptian civilization. I know that movies are not real but interpretations of events using creative license to illustrate and entertainer - nothing more. Do I want to visit Egypt - No I personally do not, I do not like dry hot places. The Jews and other Egyptian slaves built the pyramids, the Egyptians were the designers. I took a Anthropology class on Egypt once and the instructor was an Egyptian woman who was proud of her country and had earned her degrees in Cairo. I believe she taught the truth about the history of Egypt. The bottom line is that is doesn't matter if some people have an attitude toward Egypt or not. Americans have more serious things on their mind than the history of Egypt or any other country. I hope this answered what ever your question was.
 
no we are not. well at least im not jealous of the egyptians, jealously is a sin and it wont get you anywhere. i feel sorry for them because they dont know michael jackson or god.

I wish I could understand your writing you must not speak very good English. I think you are being quite cynical. Maybe there is a personal reason as to why you think everyone is jealous.I think the world is fascinated by the early Egyptian civilization and if you can't handle the truth maybe you need a pill.
