and fish contains omega 3 fatty? Since most Asians eat fish and Fish contains omega 3 fatty acid.

I don't think so. To be good at memorization, it is matter of hard work and genes of the family. Food nutrients are one of the major contributors to make the brain function properly.

Even though that is stereotypical, it is true. It is called an essential fatty acid because it is essential for our body, but our body just doesn't produce it so we have to get it from another source, which is most likely fish. The essential fatty acid omega 3 is found in fish but a constituent of it is DHA which is found in a mother's breats milk (which is now barely being put into actual milk) but the DHA in omega 3 is for overall brain health and it helps the person focus more and helps memoriazation because it does make you smarter. That's where the theory comes from about breast feeding your child because it's good for their brain development, which in turn makes them smarter. So yes it is true about asian being more smarter because the get alot of omega 3 from fish.

That stereotype doesn't apply to all Asians. I knew lots of people from Asia when I was in college and many of them were no more motivated than typical Americans. It was only the ones from oriental parts of Asia that consistently made high grades. I don't think it was the fish either. They spend lots more time studying than the rest of us.

The Asians who are adept at memorization do so because they work very hard at their lessons and study, study, study. Stop trying to take the easy way out and buckle down. As the sayings go: "Stay in School. Study Hard. Don't do drugs. Mind your parents."
