I know that the square B USB connector on the newer Arduino Duemilanove is for uploading the sketches and such. And I understand that the Arduino's USB is seen as a device.
so...
Can I connect a USB wire ( B/male <to> A/male ) obviously the B/female on the Arduino's will attach to the B/male on my ( B/male <to> A/male ) USB wire. I would like my Arduino to then send communications (or speak) with a "computer/console" at the male A of my wire?
I will use the barrel as my alt. power source
Is the Arduino capable of this? or do I need a USB host shield to make other USB communications also?
NOOb q I know just be polite with the flames.
