:eek: Lee McQueen??? "Vats wot ahm torkin abart" Lee McQueen??? Charismatic and stylish??? sheesh.

Ok Daniel Craig may not look like a poster boy from 'TopMan' but he is an excellent actor - I was sceptical when he was cast as Bond, but I was really impressed with him - he lenRAB the role a grittiness and a gravitas that it never had before.

But each to their own - we'll have to disagree about what makes a good 'Bond'. :)
 
If we ever get to the stage where reality tv show contestants get rumoured for the role of Bond then i think i'll quit watching movies for good.
 
In his dreams MQueen looks more like Bond.
Craig is totally lush, McQueen is totally vacant, pretty looking boy, but totally devoid of any charisma and a terrible speaker.

Considering Bond is supposed to be licensed to kill who would have liked to see play the role? Personally I like the idea of a back to basics Bond character - ie, no gadgets, so I would have liked to see Bob Hoskins drop the nut on the bad guy.
 
And what does Bond look like exactly?

It's a genuine question - presumably you've read all the books and there's a description in there somewhere which Daniel Craig doesn't fit?

So, not exactly like Daniel Craig, but certainly no Lee McQueen.
 
I think DC actually fits that description reasonable well and definitely can do the cold eyes and cruel mouth kind of thing which I don't think any of the other actors ever pulled off.

I'm still bemused by all those who didn't want him in the role partly on the basis that he is blond....:rolleyes:
 
So considering that "good looking" is an incredibly subjective viewpoint, it all comes down to the fact that he doesn't have black hair or look a bit like a 1920's jazz musician?:confused:

Maybe they should dye his hair black for the next film? Would that make people happier?
