Apple Store South Yarra Melbourne?

I heard about 2 or 3 years ago they wanted to open an Apple Store in Melbourne's South Yarra and Sydney. I know the Sydney was the first to be chosen to be built but i was wondering when and will they open a proper Apple store in Melbourne. Not really the ones in the shopping centre but the one's like NYC. Thanks.
