Apple Store return policy for Beats by Dre Headphones?

I purchased a pair of Beats by Dre headphones from the Apple Store about 9 months ago, but I seem to be having a problem with them. Can anyone tell me if the Apple Store allows you to exchange a product, even if it was purchased 9 months ago? (I'm not trying to get anything new, just exchanging this pair for another pair). I have my receipt.
