Apple has reportedly acquired PrimeSense, the company behind the Xbox Kinect's 3D-sensor technology, for $345 million, according to Israeli financial newspaper Calcalist.
This isn't the first time that rumors of an acquisition have popped up. In July, the newspaper reported that Apple was in talks to acquire PrimeSense at a valuation between $280 million and $300 million.

A spokesperson for PrimeSense previously declined to comment, telling Mashable, "We can't comment on what any of our partners, customers or potential customers are doing and we’re not commenting on rumors."
Apple and PrimeSense did not immediately respond to a request for comment on this latest report.
Calcalist also reported that PrimeSense raised $85 million from Israeli and U.S. venture-capital funds, including Canaan Partners Global, Gemini Israel and Genesis Partners.
If the rumors are true, PrimeSense would be the second Israeli company to be acquired by Apple. The Cupertino, Calif. company bought flash-storage maker Anobit Technologies in 2012.
