I recently posted the problem i had with AMDS :
Hi i recently bought a new ipod touch 4g and whenever i plug it into my PC ( Windows vista home premium ) it makes a noise and nothing happens, iv downloaded the newest itunes 10 and when i open it to sync or anything like that it gives me a pop up saying that i need the new version of Apple Mobile Device Support, and here lies my problem, i read the apple / itunes site and it tells me to uninstall it through my control panel but whenever i try uninstall it, it gets at around 10 secs left and the green loading bar thing goes backwards after that it tells me that a fatal error or something like that has happened. Any help would be really appreciated!
And now iv got another problem. After i found a way to uninstall AMDS ( with Perfect Uninstaller ).
I have now uninstalled AMDS and re installed iTunes 10 but it still gives me the same pop up whenver i plug in my itouch.
" iTunes requires a newer version of Apple Mobile Device Support. Please uninstall Apple mobile device support and iTunes then install iTunes again."
Thats word by word of what the pop up says, Iv llooked all over Google but still cannot find the solution! If anyone could help id love you for ever!
Also if you think i should contact apple please give me the number i live in the US if it matters any. Thanks in advance !
Also is there a download for Apple Mobile Device Support in thew newest version? If there is please provide a link
