Apple Mail.app crashing repeatedly?

About 10 seconds after launching Mail, the color wheel shows up, and about 30 seconds after that, Mail crashes. Tried restarting, rebuilding permissions, deleting the .plist file, usual stuff, didn't help. I can't rebuild mailboxes or anything because Mail crashes before I can.
