I am going to be starting studying Law and need a new laptop for my course. I am wondering weather to go Mac or PC
My current thoughts are;
I am so sick of sorting out all of the crashes and errors on my computers/laptops
I need something which is future proof as i cant afford to buy a new computer every couple of years
Mac's:
-more virus resistant & office software comes pre-installed so less money spent on extras (i know there are free virus protection & open office for PC but free stuff always seems to lead to viruses)
-They dont slow down as much over time like PC's do, so would last longer?
-I will spend less time reading error messages and having to spend ages sorting problems out
-would there be compatibility issues with my old files/transferring files to PC's/using my camera etc?
PC:
-Cheaper to buy the hardware
-more software available (is this even relevant to me though? not planning to play games on the notebook)
I'm quite confused as to what to go for, but at the moment am leaning towards Mac after years of crappy PC's
Any good arguments for and against please?!
