apple laptop and windows live id (msn) (chatting)?

i just got a apple laptop mac book and now i want to have my windows live id on it. i already have a account for hotmail for emailing but i cant figure out how to get the thing where u sign in and then it has your friend list on it. and on my old computer i had it so i do already have a account with it so anyone?? how can i get it on here!!?? thanks
 
MSN Messenger? Microsoft stopped making it for Mac, I believe. You can probably still download it, but I would suggest you get Adium instead. You can sign into your MSN network and chat with your friends.

Since Apple has been taking more and more P.C users away, Microsoft have been less helpful towards Apple users. (compare this with iTunes and Safari for P.C.)
