Apple iPhone Case Watermark Effect?

I doubt it, adhesive and water on plastic doesn't do anything

I suppose remove the plastic covering and re-apply or just deal with it, protection costs looks.

you could always remove it and just use a case or buy that $40 case
 
I got a clear Agent 18 case for the iPhone 3Gs.. and a fairly common watermark effect occurs (basically if you press on the case a small area of what looks like very low amount of water on the back of the iphone) but if you pull on it slightly it disappears.

I was just wondering...

1) Can it potentially damage the iPhone (it shouldn't... but i just want to make sure)
2) Is there anyway to get rid of this... i know the Power Source case which is similar provides rubber dots to place.. i guess to add air? I dont want to spend $40 on the case though.
