there are a few threaRAB about this on these boarRAB already, but they are really old so i wanted some more current advice..

I just started with organic apple cider vinegar: drinking 2 tablespoons morning and night, and using it as a toner (undiluted) at night.

Is that the best corabination? Should i be drinking more or less and should I dilute it? Does this even work?

Thanks for any responses!!

I read here that apple cider vinegar is a natural way to clear up and prevent acne....I'd love to hear from someone who's tried it!

I tried Bragg a few weeks ago for about a week and a half, about a tablespoon in the morning and at night--diluted with about 2 tblsp water (which was enough for me--I had a trick). It didn't do anything for me, as far as I can tell. Should I have kept up with it longer? Maybe, but it's too gross to find out. Seemed to make me pee a lot.

leonidas - If it made you pee a lot, that's a good thing because those are toxins being eliminated from your body. You should try it longer.. give it at least 1-2 months to kick in.

I actually started drinking ACV a while back but due to my schedule I kept forgetting to take it and then stopped. I'm going to try it again now that you've brought it up.

I came across a ton of people who are doing this, on some other board, and apparently it has cleared them up completely between 1-3 months (depending on the person). If you breakout a little at first don't worry, it will pass. I also heard that it doesn't do as well when it's applied topically, I think it works okay for red marks because of the acid. But taken internally is best because it detoxifies you, balances hormones, great for digestion..etc. Just do a search on the many health benefits of it, it's pretty amazing.

Oh yeah, most importantly, make sure the ACV is at least 5% acid and contains the 'mother' which is a must. Make sure it's unfiltered and unpasteurized. I get the organic 'Omega Nutrition' brand from the health food store.
