at what point does Black America's poverty , educational, healthcare, & housing crises become not 'their' problem, but AMERICA'S problem. It is a more or less accepted that that politicians , and the larger whie population, couldn't care less what happens to it's AMERICAN citizens of black & Latino extraction
What they fail to realize is the economic impact of a government that not only does not care about almost 1/4th of it's population; espescially more so now that most of the white population in America are nearing or in retirement. From a purely work-force perspective, America does not have enough citizens to replenish it's workforce once the Baby Boomers move out , and the citizens it does have, it spends more money on war & ignoring them , than it does educating them and making sure they will be able to help America compete globally in the 21st century
America post-2010 is competing with other countries for jobs, and in the information age those jobs are jobs that are more reliant on how much you know, than how much you can lift. America has made sure to educate only it's white population, and mire it's minorities (who will be the majority in a few decades) in abject poverty, a combination that spells doom for American competitiveness, economy, and maybe even the existence of the country itself
