it's currently talking about how cocky Spain was during the 17th century with all the Gold and Silver they had as a result of the invasion of South America. And how they thought they were invincible.. I want to make sure and understand what the sentence above says exactly because I don't want to continue reading my AP History book without understanding it completetly. I just need a couple more pages and I'm done with one chapter yay
