Hi everyone! I have this extra credit to do in AP US History.. I'm supposed to come up with my own Christmas carol meaning I can choose any christmas tune (i.e The twelve days of christmas, jingle bells, jingle bell rock) and put in lyrics of any historical period (i.e World Wars, French and Indian War, American Revolution, New World "Columbian Exchange"). It has to flow smoothly, has to no doubt make sense :P, and it has to be historically worded...

Ex. The twelve days of Christmas ft. Columbian Exchane

"In the first era of history, Columbus sailed the sea....."

Now, my question is.... not really a question, more of a needed assistance (=

I'm really having trouble coming up with this idea (I lack imagination, creativity and orinality *sad face*) so if it isn't too much, I was wondering if anyone would be so kind of enough to help me out just by giving me an idea (in other words, provide me a tune and a historic time plus 1 original line deriving from the tune and historic item you provide -- Having a leading example will help me ALOT in continuing the rest of the carol)

Please helppp ): It's due in 5 days.
I'm not from SDOHS... Apparently, all APUSH classes from different schools are also dealing with this tedious crisis :/
